S U R R O U N D is a commercial and residential interior design firm focusing on fine furnishings and soft good procurement. Each of our projects is a fully custom, collaborative process that ranges from space planning to finishes and decor. We pride ourselves on sourcing timeless, inspired pieces that will be loved for many years. We mainly serve clients in the Central Ohio area but continue to work on projects all over the country including Michigan, Illinois, Florida, and Texas.
OUR PROCESS
INQUIRY
Every project begins with our Client Intake Form. We invite you to share your desired timeline, budget, and project details. Upon receiving your form, we will promptly reach out to you to discuss your project in more depth.
CONSULTATION
Following our initial phone conversation, we'll arrange an in-person meeting at the job site. This visit allows us to immerse ourselves in your space, understand your lifestyle, and ensure that our proposal is as personalized and precise as possible.
PROJECT OUTLINE
After assessing the scope of your project and carefully considering all of your preferences, we will present a comprehensive project outline. This will clearly outline our fees and the specific services included, providing transparency and clarity for the next steps.
DESIGN/PLANNING
Once the project outline is approved, we'll start designing. Every detail will be crafted with your needs and aspirations in mind, as we work to transform your space into the sanctuary you envision.
PRESENTATION
Upon completion of the design phase, we will invite you to the SURROUND Showroom for your first design presentation. During this session, you'll receive a detailed plan that includes space layouts, paint and fabric selections, and other key design elements. This is a highly collaborative meeting, and while we aim to perfect the design on the first try, minor revisions are often made to ensure your absolute satisfaction.
ORDERING + MANAGEMENT
Once your design has been approved, we will move forward with ordering the selected products. A formal invoice will be provided for your records. We will manage and track all orders, and once products arrive at our Columbus, Ohio warehouse, thorough inspections will be conducted on each item before delivery to your home. Our team will unbox, assemble, and meticulously check each product to ensure quality.
INSTALLATION
Once the products are received and inspected, we will schedule a delivery and installation date to bring your visions to life. Our team will carefully install everything, ensuring your space is transformed exactly as envisioned.
